The Hot Disk® method is now further strengthened through the publication of the ASTM E3088-25 standard. ASTM E3088-25 defines the use of the Transient Plane Source method for measuring thermal transport properties in solid materials and represents a further development of the previously established ISO-22007-2 and ISO-22007-7 international standards. Together, these standards reinforce confidence in the Hot Disk® method and the instruments Hot Disk AB develop in accordance with them.
