The switch unit is connected to the Hot Disk®/Hot Strip®/Hot Cell® sensor input of a Hot Disk® instrument via an interface cable (with 8-pin Lemo connectors, both males), which is included. In addition, a corresponding interface cable (with 4-pin Lemo connectors, both males), is included and connected to the PT100 temperature sensor input of the Hot Disk® instrument.
The sensor switch unit is controlled automatically by the Hot Disk Desktop App over USB communication (a USB cable is included). The active port is indicated in the Hot Disk Desktop App.
