Remote-controlled testing
The Automation Measurement Module enables a Hot Disk® instrument to be remotely controlled. This includes setting TCU temperature, inputting parameters, scheduling measurements, analyzing data, and exporting results. The remote control of the instrument is conducted via Ethernet communication.
With the Automation Measurement Module, any preferred software interface supporting Ethernet communication can be programmed to access and operate a Hot Disk® instrument remotely. A series of commands have been made available for this remote control following the TCP/IP protocol.
The Automation Measurement Module is primarily intended to enable integrated and automated QC testing in production lines, in the process of product testing, verification, screening, etc. It is, however, also useful for situations when a user does not have direct access to the Hot Disk® instrument due to being off-site or performing measurements in restricted environments.
