The sensor interface consists of an aluminum and PEEK polymer housing with a slot for sliding in the sensor. A pressure connection between the sensor contacts and the sensor wire ends is made by torque screws on the back side of the housing. The four sensor wires are insulated with a high temperature hosing capable of beyond 300°C ambient temperature, and at their other end they are connected to our grey-colored polymer-clad sensor cable. Note that the latter can only handle 50°C, wherefore if this sensor interface is to be used in a temperature chamber, the wires with high temperature hosing need to be fed through and extend outside the temperature chamber.
The length of the sensor wires with high-temperature hosing are by default 1.5 m long but can be made shorter or longer upon request.
